Description

Description
The LW36-145 is an outdoor high-voltage AC SF6 circuit breaker designed for power systems up to 145kV. It uses SF6 gas as the insulating and arc-quenching medium, ensuring excellent breaking performance, high reliability, and long service life. It is suitable for frequent operation and provides effective protection and control for high-voltage transmission systems.

Characteristic of structure
The circuit breaker features a three-phase, porcelain-column-type, single-break structure, with a single spring-operated mechanism shared across all three phases. This mechanism is centrally positioned to ensure synchronized three-phase linkage, resulting in a novel and refined aesthetic. The circuit breaker utilizes SF6 gas as both its insulating and arc-extinguishing medium. During operation, the SF6 gas within the three poles remains interconnected; furthermore, a pointer-type density relay is employed to continuously monitor the gas pressure and density. By adopting a self-blast arc-extinguishing principle—combined with an optimized design of the circuit breaker's mechanical drive system—mechanical efficiency has been significantly enhanced. This optimization minimizes the required operating energy while ensuring excellent interrupting performance and a long electrical service life.
The mounting base frame and support structures are fabricated from high-quality steel plates, formed via integral bending. All surface treatments utilize a hot-dip galvanizing process, and all exposed fasteners are made from high-strength materials that have undergone hot-dip galvanization or consist of standard stainless steel components. The mechanism housing is constructed from stainless steel, endowing the product with superior corrosion resistance.
The device exhibits high mechanical reliability and is capable of frequent switching operations.
Leveraging the inherent high dielectric strength of SF6 gas—combined with an optimized contact motion mechanism—the circuit breaker is capable of interrupting capacitive currents without restrikes. It features a high level of external insulation, characterized by a long creepage distance design (specific creepage distance ≥ 31 mm/kV), ensuring excellent resistance to environmental pollution and enabling safe operation even in harsh environments.
